🗝️ Find My Keys! – 2-Hour Scentwork Workshop Ever misplaced your keys? Or your gloves, phone… maybe even your TV remote? Let’s turn that daily frustration into your dog’s party trick. In this practical and engaging two-hour workshop, we’ll teach you how to train your dog to search for personal items using their incredible sense of smell – and let you know when they’ve found them. Whether you’re completely new to scentwork or want to add something new to your dog’s existing search skills, this session will give you the tools and training to get started. 🔍 What we’ll cover: How to scent-pair items like keys or gloves Building a clear indication behaviour (so you know when they’ve found it!) Practising short, focused searches Introducing basic search patterns and adding distractions Tips to transfer the skill to everyday life (yes – they really can find your keys) 🐾 What to bring: Flat collar or well-fitting harness Longline (non-retractable, no slip leads) High-value treats (moist ones like sausage or pate work best) Your dog’s favourite toy Your own set of keys (an old spare set is ideal) Water and a bowl Poo bags Mat or blanket for your dog to settle on between turns 🎒 Forgot something? We’ll have RED Kongs, Perfect Fit Harnesses, Training Leads, Toys, and Treats available to purchase on-site. 📋 Workshop Guidelines: Dogs work individually while others rest – please bring a mat or crate to help your dog settle. Only dogs booked into the workshop may attend. Dogs must be kept on lead at all times outside of the search area. Walk dogs only in the designated walking area. Please bring your own water and bowl. Clean up after your dog and take any waste home (or use bins if provided). If your dog barks, lunges, or finds group settings tricky, drop us a message – we may suggest 1-2-1 training to prepare.
